CorrelAid

About my volunteering (and now work) at CorrelAid

CorrelAid is a data-for-good network of over 1000 data scientists who want to use data science for the social good. We do this by connecting non-profit organisations with data scientists from our network for pro-bono data science projects. In addition, we provide education to our network in the form of workshops, meetups, internal projects (e.g. newsanchor) etc.

I was amongst the first members of CorrelAid in 2015 and have been active as a board member / organization team member since then. I take care of our infrastructure (Azure, GitHub, …), code internal tools (CorrelAid Slackbot, hi!), try to pass on my skills in workshops, organize internal projects, and a lot more. Since February 2020, I work as COO for CorrelAid.
